Lake Wylie KAYAK RENTALS - (CLOSED FOR THE SEASON)
Flatwater kayaking on Lake Wylie! Great for beginners
Enjoy 90 minutes of flatwater kayaking at your own pace on a stretch of the Catawba River on upper Lake Wylie through a cove, around an island and in the main channel of the river. This kayak rental experience is great for first time paddlers or families with young children.

CLOSED FOR THE SEASON - Walk-up Rentals: Saturdays and Sundays 10 AM – 4 PM

Cost:
- $25 per kayak rental
- $20 per rental for residents of Belmont, Cramerton or McAdenville
- 10% discount for Catawba Riverkeeper members
Rental Cost Includes:
- Single or tandem sit-on-top kayak
- PFD (personal floatation device)
- Paddle
- Basic water safety
- Basic paddling instruction on-land
Restrictions:
- Must be 18 years of age to purchase tickets
- Must be 4 years of age to ride in a tandem kayak with an adult
- Must be 8 years of age to ride in a single kayak with an adult in another kayak
